Chris Wheatley

Chris is the Chief Executive Office of Flying High Partnership formed in 2012. This partnership is a high performing Multi Academy Trust consisting of 30 schools across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Nottingham City.

In 2013 Chris worked to form Inspiring Leaders, encompassing Trusts and Teaching Schools from across our region working together to deliver the National Professional Qualification for school leaders. Inspiring Leaders (Flying High Futures) also includes the SCITT, recognised as outstanding in November 2017.

Alongside this role, Chris is a long standing NLE, Pupil Premium Reviewer, Ofsted inspector and a member of the Teaching School Hub Council.

Chris has been involved in many steering groups (DFE Primary Steering Group and the National College Primary Reference Group to name two) and holds national responsibility for the support of inclusive leadership for the NCTL programme: Achievement for All. In 2008 Chris was awarded the title of ‘East Midlands and East Headteacher of the Year’ and in January 2020 was awarded an OBE for services to education.

Christopher Herron

With over 20 years experience in the Commercial Property sector Chris is a Director of Herron Associates Ltd which he formed in 2010 to provide client focused, innovative and realistic solutions to all aspects of the property sector.

As an experienced Property Surveyor, Chris provides expertise, support and challenge across the property and premises sector.

Hannah Herron

Hannah is a Chartered Management Accountant within the NHS. She provides expertise, support and challenge across a number of areas including finance, audit and risk.

Philip Carey

Philip is the owner of Careys Personal Credit. He provides expertise, support and challenge across a number of areas including finance, business growth and leadership.
